WHY HOMEOWNERS CALL US

A Home You're Proud to Pull Up To

Most people don't call a painter because they're interested in paint. They call because something about the house stopped feeling like theirs, and they'd like that back. Here's what the project is really buying you.

01

A house that looks the way you picture it.

The color you actually wanted, on surfaces prepped well enough that it still looks that way in a few years. Complimentary color guidance is included with qualifying painting projects, so you're choosing alongside someone who does this daily instead of squinting at color swatches on a kitchen counter. For general color help, call us at (612) 250 5396.

02

Curb appeal you notice every time you come home.

A fresh exterior is the first thing anyone sees — visitors, neighbors, and you, every day. It's one of the clearest ways a home says it's cared for, and one of the few improvements you get to enjoy from the driveway before you've even walked inside.

03

An investment protected against a Minnesota winter.

Freeze-thaw cycles, snow load, humidity swings, and UV are hard on a house. A properly prepped and coated exterior is a barrier, not a decoration — it keeps ordinary wear from turning into the kind of repair that costs real money.

04PRIMARY BENEFIT

Your time back.

This is the part homeowners tell us they value most. You're not the project manager. You don't chase updates, coordinate the crew, or wonder what's happening today. Your estimator guides your plan, a dedicated project manager manages production to keep you posted, and the house goes back to normal at the end of every day.

05PEACE OF MIND

A finish you don't have to think about for years.

Premium Sherwin-Williams products, a written 2–5 year warranty depending on scope, and a 30-day touch-up window afterwards for anything that only shows up once you've lived with it.

THE COMPANY BEHIND YOUR PROJECT

Durahome Was Built Around the Part Most Painters Skip

Founded in the Twin Cities in 2016 by owner Cody Sanoy

Durahome exists because of something its founder noticed standing in other people's driveways: the finish is rarely the hard part. Plenty of crews can put a good coat on a wall. What almost nobody handles well is everything around it — the scheduling, the answering, showing up on the day you were promised, and keeping you in the loop without being asked.

Having grown up around construction with a lifelong passion for home improvement, Cody Sanoy started working on job sites early in his career. He refined his craft and business acumen through College Pro — the program that hands motivated young leaders a real painting business and lets them find out whether they can run one. He excelled. But it was that gap — between a quality finish and a seamless homeowner experience — that inspired him to found Durahome.

So Durahome runs on one conviction: a painting company is only as good as its word. That's why your price is locked in writing before anyone opens a can. It's why your dedicated project lead coordinates the crew and keeps you informed every step of the way. And it's why nobody here calls your job finished until you've walked it and said so.

More than 2,500 homes later, the standard hasn't moved: treat every home like it's the only one on the schedule, and leave every homeowner glad they called.

OUR VALUES

Six Standards, and What Each One Means

Values are only worth stating if they change what happens on a Tuesday when the job is moving. Here's what ours mean once we're at your house.

01

Care Deeply

Your plants, pets, floors, furniture, and routine get treated like they matter, because to you they do. Nobody walks past a problem and leaves it for the next person to find.

02

Own the Outcome

You're not managing anyone. We carry the project from the first conversation to the final walkthrough, and the follow-through is ours.

03

Clear Communication

You always know what's happening. If timing, scope, or cost changes, you hear it from us before it affects you, not after.

04

Precision

The details you'd notice are the details we're checking. We inspect the work through your eyes before you have to, and we know what "done" means before we say it.

05

Clear Thinking

Honest recommendations. Sometimes an extra step is clearly worth it and we'll say so. Sometimes it isn't, and we'll say that too.

06

Trust

What we tell you is what happens — including the inconvenient version, on the days that's the true one.

WHO'S ACTUALLY ON SITE

The Same Experienced Crew, Start to Finish

The people who show up on day one are the people who finish your project. Around 90% of our painters stayed with us last year, and most carry close to a decade of experience — so your foreman has almost certainly run a project like yours before.

01

Crew Continuity

That continuity is what you feel day to day. There's no rotating cast to re-explain things to, nobody in the house you weren't told about, and no crew learning your home on your dime.

02

Full Insurance Coverage

Everyone on your property carries full general liability and workers' compensation coverage.

03

No Call Center Escalation

If something ever needs escalating, four people can resolve it directly and none is a call center: your on-site foreman, your project manager, our office manager, and Cody.

HONEST ADVICE

Four Things Worth Asking Any Painter, Including Us

Plenty of Twin Cities painting companies do good work. A few things are still worth checking before you sign anything, whoever you end up hiring.

01PREP SCOPE

Ask what the prep actually involves.

Not "we prep thoroughly" — ask whether they wash the house, what happens to failing paint, whether wood repair is inside the quote or extra, and what gets primed. Prep is what decides whether your finish holds for three years or ten.

02FIXED PRICE

Ask whether the price can move.

The written scope stays fixed. Customer-requested additions are always priced and approved in writing before extra work begins.

03VERIFIED INSURANCE

Ask for current proof of insurance.

General liability and workers' compensation, both in date. It takes one phone call and it protects you specifically from any liability while workers are on your roof or scaffolding.

04WRITTEN WARRANTY

Ask what the warranty covers, in writing.

Length, what's included, and how to make a claim. A verbal guarantee is worth very little on the day you need it. Make sure you get written dates and coverage specifics.

HONEST PRICING

The Best Value — Which Isn't Always the Biggest Number

We recommend the scope that creates the most value for your money, not the largest invoice. Sometimes that's a few extra steps, because they can help extend color life. Sometimes it's the simpler option, because moving up the ladder hits diminishing returns and the money is better left in your pocket. Either way, you'll know what you're paying for and what it changes about the result.
